In this unit we have looked at teaching groups of adult students of general English. Later however, you are likely to come across other forms of teaching which may require slightly different skills. In this unit we will look at these more specialized groups: - Teaching beginners. Many teachers claim that teaching beginners is one of the most rewarding and enjoyable aspects of EFL teaching. Many students will fall into two or even three categories: the absolute beginner; the false beginner; the adult beginner; the young beginner; the beginner without Roman alphabet. - Teaching individual students; - Teaching children; - Business english/english for specific purposes (ESP); - The monolingual and the multilingual class.
