A lesson plan is a teacher's detailed description of the course of instruction for a lesson. There are several items that should be included in a lesson plan. They are, learner objective, personal aims, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time and teacher's name. I have learnt that lesson planning is very important for both inexperienced and experienced teachers. A lesson plan serves as a record of what the class has done and which activities and materials have already been used in class. Also, it shows the objectives of the class and the activities needed to achieve those objectives. It acts as a working document or a guide in the conduct of the lesson.
