This chapter gave me a lot of insight in how to structure a lesson. I realise have to create the lesson that's most helpful to the student so they can maximize their learning. This chapter showed me some good techniques I plan to use when I start teaching. I look forward to more theoretical chapters like this one.This unit explores the use of materials used in the classroom. At times I also question whether the use of student books is a good idea. Ultimately, I do like the consistent progression that they provide and the syllabus. From there, it enables me to decide what sections I may want to omit, replace, or supplement.
