Receptive skills which are reading and listening are the backbone of productive skills. If students lack one of the receptive skills they may have hard time to master productive skills. It is vital for students to build both reading and listening level to be better at produce language in both speaking and writing.This unit covers materials that are not normally taught in class and requires a lot of practice. It is easier in the spoken form than the written form. We learn this easier through speech. Overall challenging unit but there are a few ways to make it interesting to teach. Will require more practice and preparation.
