In this unit I have learned the importance of building rapport with your students and showing up happy and interested to class. There are various options for setting up your classes, largely depending on class size and physical space. Personally, I prefer a horseshoe approach to create a more intimate environment.Unit 7 was about teaching a new language. I learned that there are several factors to consider when deciding which vocabulary to teach such as appropriacy to the students, similarity to the students native language, and how it is used in context. I also learned how to teach language structure using ESA techniques.
