Undoubtedly, there is a huge amount of errors\\mistakes that students can make learning conditionals and reported speech, an enormous amount. It's rather complicated topic, and as I could notice (once again, I don't have much of teaching experience) it's being neglected at least in Russia. Yes, all the textbooks have these topics, yes they are being taught to students of different levels, but generally it all stops at the final tests after this topic is finished. Students don't really use it in their speech, I believe, that the reason is that even after learning it they still stay pretty unfamiliar with those structures. As one of my teachers back to my school days was joking: \"yes, and they also can be mixed..\" I remember myself thinking that time that conditionals is one of the most 'creative\" parts of grammar: just learn the original structures and then do whatever you want. I grew up, but I notice that some of my friends who happen to be native speakers of English language, actually do this exact thing - they just mix them any way they want. But putting the jokes aside, I think this Unit could contain a table of expression/words like 'tomorrow', 'yesterday' and how they change in reported speech, it has some, but it could be useful to have a full table, but again, Murphy books and all the course books are obviously still available.
