There were a lot of differences in the teachers behavior between lesson 1 and lesson 2. I noticed the level of participation of lesson 1 to be minimal. I also felt how uncomfortable the students felt. The teacher spoke above them and they were not able to understand. I felt the behavior and attitude of the teacher could have been improved to help everyone feel more confident and free to participate. There seemed to be a lot of confusion as the teacher did not explain about the worksheets. I'm sure the students would have struggled to complete the tasks. I noticed when the students asked questions the teacher really did not give much of an attempt to answer the questions at the moment it was asked or even later. The second lesson was much more productive. Right away, the teacher set a positive atmosphere by introductions and helping to break the ice. Along with that, the teacher did not speak over the students. The level of teaching fit their ability and they were able to provide a long list of vocabulary words to put on the board. The teacher didn't get stuck up with all these terms like \"modal auxiliary verbs\" which would only confuse a learner. The activities were fun. The use of visual aids and examples helped the teaching be more effective. These videos of different teaching styles helped to think about what to do or not do during a class.
