This unit explored equipment and teaching aids. I was very surprised to see interactive white boards covered in the material - when a teacher is knowledgeable of the operating system and the IWB works correctly this resource can be very helpful, fun and engaging in the classroom. I also find a clean whiteboard with a multitude of different colors very effective. In addition to these materials I like to have students use their smart phones as well. Taking video or pictures (of what is written on the board or of worksheets) can help students self-reflect upon their work - what they did well and what they need to improve upon.
