Unit nine discusses lesson planning, especially the reasons for making them as the steps to accomplish that task. I found the most helpful portion of this lesson was the sample lesson plan. I have created lesson plans in the past (not for TEFL students), but the format of this one was much more organized than mine. The inclusion of approximate times and the type of interactions (teacher-student, student-student) was a great help. I believe this makes lesson plans 'works in progress' as, once the teacher becomes more familiar with the best way to communicate to their students, the times and procedures may need to be modified.
