In this unit we deal with a variety of topics. The main ones re: learning and behavior theories, L1 and L2 acquisition, learning methodologies, learning environment, skills and maturation. I have found this unit very useful for a number of reasons. First, it starts with an excellent summary of learning and behavior theories. Second, the explanation about different learning environments helps a lot to think about different options to manage the classroom. And third, the last part of the unit gives us a detailed explanation about the relationship between student levels and the skills that should be aquired at a certain level.
