unit 13 which is teaching pronunciation and phonology is really a part of english that most of us doesn't focus and give too much attention as we expect as native speakers that as we read we usually can pronounce the words. But of course for the students its really difficult, as they tend only to rely no how they heard the word. As i teach english in japan its so hard for the students to pronounce words because they don't have it in their romanji so they just rely on the repetition that i did for them to pronounce the words. Im very particular on the pronunciation to communicate but can't expand the time much more the lesson.
