In teaching, it is very important to be prepared to give lessons to students of all backgrounds, so that weaker students aren't left out, or stronger students are focused on. To create this atmosphere, I would try to break the class into small groups, that change seats every few weeks; my goal in doing this, would be to get all the students to have relationships with each other, and to understand it's a safe environment for learning. Also, as for using the native language in the classroom, for each time a student said something in their native language, I would have another student translate this, and then I would say the translation more naturally, have the student repeat, and then write the phrase down( this would be with phrases/words that will be used frequently in the future). In doing this, it would show the student, that if you make a mistake, or don't understand something, you just have to take notes and repeat the correct phrase, which helps you to learn what you want to say in the future.
