ITTT’s online Diploma in TESOL is an advanced level training course that is a popular choice for a wide range of people, particularly those who are looking to increase their overall teaching knowledge and qualifications in order to gain an advantage when applying for higher level teaching positions. The course is also open to trainees who have yet to begin their TESOL training as it starts with our standard 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification course to ensure you have all the basic understanding in place before moving onto the advanced diploma stage. The Diploma in TESOL course includes the support and guidance of an experienced online tutor for the duration of your studies.

The course is research based and requires you to utilize the internet and other resources to examine and develop your own understanding of a variety of relevant topics. The modules that make up the course cover subjects including the historical development of English language teaching, different approaches to course syllabus design, designing classroom materials, student assessment strategies, and classroom management.

We also offer two multi-course packages that include the Diploma in TESOL course. Our 470-hour Professional Package consists of four online courses; the 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification course, the 50-hour course in teaching business English (CTBE), the 50-hour course in teaching English to young learners (CTEYL), and the 250-hour Diploma in TESOL. As with the individual course, this package includes the support of an online tutor. You will also be given the option of receiving four individual certificates (one for each course completed), or a single 470-hour certificate that covers all four courses.

Our second course package is the 550-hour Expert Package that offers six top courses that will really set you up for your overseas teaching adventure. This option includes the four courses from the Professional Package, as well as a 50-hour course in teaching English online (CTEO) and a 30-hour certificate of teaching practice recognition (CTPR). Once again, the package includes online tutor support and the option to receive an individual certificate for each component or a 550-hour certificate that covers all the components of the package.
